1..Services Offered
Finnika provides private online Finnish lessons via Zoom. The available options are:
Trial Lesson (30 min)
Basic Finnish
Conversational Finnish
Business Finnish
All lessons are tailored to the student’s needs.
2..Booking and Payment
All lessons are booked through the website. Payment is required at the time of booking and is processed securely via PayPal or Stripe. Lessons are only confirmed once payment is received.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If a student needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson:
They must notify at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
If the cancellation is made less than 12 hours before, the lesson will be fully charged and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
However, if an emergency arises or exceptional circumstances occur, you're always welcome to contact me directly at office@learnfinnika.com —I’m sure we will find a solution!
This policy applies to all lesson types, including trial lessons.
4..Refund
As a general rule, refunds are not offered, as lessons can usually be rescheduled.
However, a refund may be considered in the following exceptional cases:
Emergency or unforeseen situations (please get in touch directly).
Double payments or accidental bookings.
Cancellation on the teacher’s part, with no suitable rescheduling option.
All refund requests must be made in writing to office@learnfinnika.com
5..No-shows
If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson without notice, the session is considered used and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
6..Teacher Cancellations
If the teacher must cancel a lesson, the student will be offered the choice of:
Rescheduling at no extra cost, or
Receiving a full refund
